Program at Country Christian School offers a concentrated six week course in Simply Phonics for children in first through sixth grade.  The four following areas will be covered in class:

          1. Phonics Rules - Complete Phonic Charts

          2. Spelling - this is incorporated to reinforce the rules of phonics.

          3. Creative Writing - is taught simultaneously to help establish applied phonic rules in spelling and to motivate your child in creative imagery through words.

          4. Reading - to help establish confidence through increased ability to sound out words phonetically, and through an increased definition of vocabulary to help reading comprehension.

          This program is recommended for students that struggle with reading & spelling, or are first time students to Country Christian School.
